What types of replacement windows do you install?
We install vinyl double-hung, casement, sliding, bay/bow, and picture windows — primarily ENERGY STAR® certified with Low-E glass. All of our standard residential replacement windows are full-frame installations — not insert-only — for a proper weather seal and maximum glass size.
How long does window replacement take?
Most homeowners have all windows replaced in 1–2 days. A typical home with 15–20 windows usually completes in one day. We remove and dispose of all old windows, install the new units, and seal and trim each opening in a single visit.
Will new windows lower my energy bills?
ENERGY STAR® certified double-pane Low-E windows typically reduce heating and cooling energy use by 10–20% in Maryland homes. The exact savings depend on your existing windows, insulation, and HVAC system. BGE Home Energy rebates may also apply. We note the ENERGY STAR rating and U-factor for each window model we quote.
What does full-frame window replacement mean?
Full-frame replacement removes the entire existing window down to the rough framing — including the old frame, sill, and interior and exterior trim. This allows us to inspect and repair any rot or water damage before installing the new window. Insert or pocket replacement leaves the old frame in place, which can hide moisture damage and results in a slightly smaller glass area.
Do your windows come with a warranty?
Yes. Our replacement windows include a lifetime warranty on the glass seal (against seal failure and fogging) and a manufacturer structural warranty of 20–30 years depending on the brand. Our 25-year workmanship warranty covers the installation — flashing, caulking, trim, and interior finishing. Both warranties are transferable to new homeowners.
How much does window replacement cost in Maryland?
A standard vinyl double-hung replacement window installed in Anne Arundel or Howard County typically runs $400–$700 per window including labor. Bay and bow windows or premium glass packages run higher. We provide free, written line-item estimates so you know the cost per window before any work begins.
